About Xcede, our story:

Xcede IT was founded by a team with many years’ experience of working in IT infrastructure design, implementation and support. They are passionate about providing a personal and responsive service to their customers.

They had seen how companies already in this field were causing more problems than they were solving and whose approach was based on sales rather than solutions.

They could see that the key to a successful relationship was creating a genuine partnership based on trust, to deliver solutions, services and products that don’t just work for their customers but improve their customers’ businesses.

Paul Stead
Founding Director

Paul held senior sales positions in several managed service providers (MSPs) before founding Xcede IT Ltd. in 2021. “I always believed that there was a better way to offer IT Support. I never wanted to give my customers any reason why my company couldn’t be trusted on price and performance and that is what Xcede IT support is all about. For a business to invite another company to manage their IT Systems, requires a huge amount of trust and we at Xcede IT work very hard to gain that trust and keep it”.

Dave Coulson
Director

Dave came straight from leaving school to start his career in IT, holding positions of Junior Programmer, Programmer, Support Analyst, Technician and Help Desk Team Leader before moving into Account Management, helping his previous employer win two prestigious awards along the way.

Dave's role today finds him active in the pre-sales environment, providing technical assistance during onboarding of new customers and ultimately making sure that our customers know they are being looked after.

“The great thing about Xcede IT is that we are all pulling in the same direction, supporting each other. I have worked with our other team members for over 10 years and we all share the same ethics, principles and goals, i.e. 100% customer satisfaction. My biggest challenge is reassuring our customers that a great sign that we are doing our jobs properly is that they don't have to contact us very often, it doesn't mean we are not working hard in the background on their behalf and let's face it, if they contact us it is because they have a problem or are missing me!".
