Day 6 and whilst a Barclay’s spokesperson has declared that their technical problems have been resolved, customers are still reporting problems with their account balances.

Whilst Barclay’s have said that the problems have NOT been caused by a Cyber attack, they have not explained what the actual reason was.
Apparently the bank went as far as to suggest to people who couldn’t access their accounts, that they should turn to friends and family to find food!
In response to one complainant, they sent a link to a nationally run food bank, so no shortage of useful advice from Britain’s oldest bank (est. 1690).
